A bit like lower grade trainers getting over 8K a year, finder a trainer is very hard.

We give our B/C grade trainers $50 a game, and I reckon they're still way over paid haha!!

It's all relative to experience and qualifications.

I'm probably not a good example, as the money hasn't really been that important to me - when I was head trainer, the other guy, who has less qualifications was getting more than I was.

Now that I'm an award winning trainer though, i might be worth $8k but I'd never ask for it ;)

If the person is actually a qualified physio and is also actiing in that capacity, I may also understand a higher rate if he's charging the club as a physio instead of a trainer.

Probably more accurate that he goes to Glenunga due to the huge Crows connections at that club. That pathway makes more sense than Fitzroy.

One would suspect if he was told to go to a higher division and the higher division was the sole point he would have been pointed many many other directions.

Glenunga are going to be the 'most overratted' team this year. Between each div is a pretty big step these days, like alot of you people have stated previously, its not about the guns, its the depth y'all have.

Glenunga are only overrated from a couple posts last year. They aren’t the greatest team div 5 has seen (like mentioned from 1 particular poster) but they have maintained a large part of their team plus gained others- On top of this they were a pretty good team. They’ll play at least finals and probably will win a final at least. Top end div 5 to top end div 4 isn’t that greater difference. You put our Div 5 premiership team in div 4 the following year we play 2nd week in finals at least. We lost heaps who didn’t play and we missed the 5 by 1 match.

I know I’m looking forward to watching teams like kilburn, eastern park and gepps cross all have seriously good wins against glenunga.. your kidding yourself if you think the top teams in div 5 can match it with the top teams in div 4! Huge difference

Kilburn yeah but Eastern Park and Gepps doubt very much both lack the top end quality needed to stop glenunga

Not sure how you figure that lol but I’m very happy to put a wager on both eastern park and gepps X finishing higher than glenunga this year! Round 5 I think it is that EP and glenunga first play each other, no doubt in my mind that EP will win that game comfortably!

Will be interesting to see the Merc's parked at Dwight Reserve.

I cant see Glenunga knocking off EP, they wont get close to them. I reckon it will be a repeat of previous year when the 2 div 5 sides came up and went straight back down. Only thing that may stop 1 of em is salisbury. Kilburn v edwardstown GF, heard it here first.

only my opinion and note i havent seen kilburn, gepps or epfc..glenungas team in 2017 was far superior to hectorville and smithfield from 2016..and i know that first hand..their weak depth wasnt really a factor..they have many lads with league and reserves experience and if you think they wont be adding to that this year then you are in denial..a lock for top 5 imo and watch the clearance page regularly all the way to june 30..they love surprises..

Kilburns top 8-10 will be far better than glenungas, or anyone for that sake, kilburns depth this year is the best in years. Expect their 2s to be playing finals, be call I know but will have plenty of depth.

That would just be a Crows Reserves clearance. He'd still be on track to play >15 minor round games with Glenunga you'd think.

Glenunga's top 10 are very good. Know **** all about their depth. Suspect will learn over the course of the year

Comparing players.

Lock kilburn and glenunga in for top 2.

No pressure
