Who cares where/how clubs sing their songs, I mean really how is this even a discussion...

Should be worrying about the report for the headbutt and how many points Eastern Park are going to lose instead of worrying about where they sing songs.

and here we are..

smithfield used to sing their song on the oval fwiw..might be a "thommo" thing? if you dont want to see it/hear it then you have to defeat them eh? ;)

Riley Hughes went very well in his first A grade game for the club, especially at such a young age.. the report was in the A grade and not one person in the team or from the club as a matter of fact is happy with it nor condones the stupid behaviour! Obviously that’s going to cost us big time and it will take a lot for us to come back from that if all of our points end up getting taken.. we warmed up at kilburns end, just a little mental thing that got inside a few of their blokes heads straight away! The whole team is looking forward to the challenge we face this week taking on an in form Glenunga side on our home deck, but still believe we will walk away with the win at home..

How do you know which end a team warms up at before the game?

To be honest I don’t think anyone at Kilburn really cares about the song or the warm up. We’ve just lost three in a row and need to make sure we play 4 quarters before worrying about who sings what and where.

Unfortunately bleed red and blue played well. Will have to hold off getting stuck into him on here for another 10 weeks.

I always thought teams warm up at the same end as their coaches box. Not sure if that is a rule or just a guideline?

I thought it was at the club end where the wind usually goes around 2pm so you could look a million dollars all oiled up and dobbing them from 50 for the locals to enjoy.

This is how we usually go with it when visiting other venues. The logistics make sense for water carries/trainers/runner etc. Not sure it's a hard and fast rule though.

Ep has been singing the club song on the oval for 20 years. Usually on at home games tho as a way to thank the crowd

I've always been interested to know- Which clubs in the league sing the song on the oval after a win?

Ingle Farm generally sing on the oval for home games.
Over the past few years I’ve made a rule we don’t ever sing at away venues, and if we play a very weak side we don’t sing on the oval at home either.

This year doesn’t matter coz we haven’t won a game

Towns don’t. My old time experience with EP is they normally do. Frankly I think it just gives you ammo for future games. Not a fan.

100% agree. Footy has a funny way of coming back to bite ya. Sing it in the rooms with your mates, no reason to sing on the oval.

Singing on the oval is done after flags or if your club hasn’t won a game for 3 years.
