Adelaide football not comfortable they are doing enough to change behavior. Had enough chances to change and still can't.

Do all westies players become zero pointers because they don't have a club?

I'm led to believe Salisbury West are currently going through a series of meetings with the league at the moment about this season and moving forward.

My gut feel is Brahma may be waiting for the outcome of this before pulling the trigger on a new coach - no Westies and lock Lethal Leigh in to return to Francis Rd as the A grade coach with a plethora of players following along.

Westies keep their affiliation alive next year, and Brahma move to plan B - Harvey.

Stage 1 complete - No more Westies.

When are Brahma going to announce lethal?

Surely not, is the job still open at the Lodge. :)

Players who are zero pointers (returning players) will be allowed to head back, apart from that wouldn't surprise me if AdFL enforced the max 3 player rule.

How many out of Salisbury West's 2018 squad would be zero pointers at the Lodge, 25 game minimum hey?

I wouldn't think the 3 player rule would come in to play, isn't that rule to not retard the club losing excessive players to the one club?

Dunno - DJ, Quinton Taylor, Lethal & Freeman off the top of my head?

3 player rule was also to avoid groups of players moving to the same club as well wasn't it? Either way, they'd attract points anyway so you couldn't go and bring in a dozen players, they'd be worth what 2pts each?

Salisbury West
The League believes it has offered the Salisbury West Football Club (SWFC) ample opportunity to implement strategies to address ongoing concerns. Whilst we acknowledge an effort to address member conduct, we are not confident that sufficient change can be effected in the relatively short space of time leading up to the commencement of the 2019 season.

The SWFC has an opportunity to appeal against The League’s determination as per the Constitution of The League specifically Clause 7.4 as detailed below;

7. RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
7.1 Each Member Club seeking renewal of its membership with The League shall make application for renewal of its membership.
7.2 Each application made in accordance with paragraph 7.1 above shall be considered by the Executive Committee and accepted or rejected.
7.3 All applications for renewal of membership shall be made and determined in accordance with the provisions of the Rules and Regulations of The League relating to such applications.
7.4 Any Member Club whose application is rejected by the Executive Committee may appeal to the General Committee against such decision.

The League is currently scheduled to convene on Monday 19th November 2018 for a General Committee Meeting to which any submission would be required no later than Friday 9th November for distribution to member clubs and their consideration.

Alternatively, the SWFC have also been advised it may invoke its right to convene an Extraordinary General Committee Meeting as described in The League’s Constitution.

“9. EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING The Executive Committee and or any ten Delegates of the General Committee may by notice in writing giving at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date upon which such meeting is to be held convene an Extraordinary General Committee meeting and such Extraordinary General Committee meeting shall be convened upon such requisition. The notice of such Extraordinary General Committee meeting shall be given to the Chief Executive Officer and to all Member Clubs. No business other than that specified in such notice shall be transacted at such meeting.”

Adelaide Lutheran Football Club will be afforded first right of refusal to assume the position vacated by the Salisbury West Football Club in the Division 6 competition.
