Postby Footy Chick » Thu Oct 12, 2017 9:02 pm

10th team to be announced (maybe)

Not sure if it will be Uni, Gullies or no one.

Welcome to our new friends from Marion and OSB Lonsdale.

Apologies in advance to them, it's a different world over here 8)

Check out Smithfield's draw, will need to be sponsored by Virgin.

Ingle Farm is their local derby.

What happened to Morrell, he was always good value. Does he still post?

Is his silence anything to do with a few issues emanating from MPFC. Might be an interesting AGM tonight.

I have just been told he will be announced as the new Viva El Presidente tonight.

The meetings might go for 3 days if someone argues with him

Nah rarely post anymore growler, my keyboard buttons got worn down to nubs

AGM tonight will be interesting, some new things being proposed and hopefully a plan for the season ahead to take shape. Not going to lie we're floundering a bit - thanks to some rather greedy individuals - but we will hopefully recover in time to come from the clouds once again.

No chance of me being president - we want to ensure other clubs have a chance! 8)

Well good luck with it, hope it works out for the club.

Curious as to the greedy comment. I assume that is players. Surely at div 7 players do the right thing by the club. Play for a Drink card for FFS. I nearly went to Kenilworth for beers about 10 years ago.

Who specifically has the greed problem?

Cheers mate! We're going to need it.

You'd think so. I've been appalled at some of the things I have discovered since the end of the year. Ah well. You think you know people eh. Paying players is something we're not very good at yet, so lessons learnt.

Nah no names from me.
