Harris Jessen is listed as playing last weekend?

I'm led to believe Scotch had quite a handy lawyer who is also an ex-player acting for them.

Pretty bias comments!!!

As many neutral people have commented, he was going to bump him to the head despite the slight push, so that's automatic 4 games. There can be no argument there and Tribunal spot on.

Speaking to lots of people at Henley they believe they are being victimised, the 6 games for B Grade player against Port Districts gets mentioned constantly. As much as it hurts to say it, time for the club to pull their heads in IMO.

That player was lucky to get 6 weeks in my view having seen the footage. Elbow to the face 100m off the play is poor to say the least.

Bumped into a Henley official at shops just then and he reckons JK did not attend their training so that rumour was wrong. They are still spewing Jessen got 4 games though, considering Rolfe got off for a worse bump.

Was also livid with that B Grade one, although not condoning the elbow to the head, reckons the Port Districts guy spat on him and he told the ump who did nothing. Just lost it after that and did what he did. They think could have been avoided if ump had acted on the spitting first. He reckons you wont see one of their players reported again this year!

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I'm sure umpires get told lots of things have happened on the field that haven't. They would have to witness someone spitting to do something about it.

Yep, totally agree with that.

He reckons he showed the ump the spit still on him, but you would think ump would have to see it to act.

What's concerning about some of the above is that historically, clubs who have fell back on "he started it" or "why are you only picking on us" have been slow to learn/react to on-field violence.

Three of the top five clubs in D1 play within a few drop punts of one another in the North-Eastern parklands with the other two completely eastern ...

Early in season I know, but reckon the five is set for Div 1 already. Gap between top five and the rest is pretty big.

You may be right. Next week the top 5 teams play the bottom 5 teams and if results go as expected the top 5 may be set. That said, we could have another round of upsets like round 6.
