Huge for the club having Lauder return - expect a few other old boys to return to assist with the Kilburn revival with one of their favourite sons at the helm. Already seen Danny Ryan named as footy director.

Dallas Wiles? Wayne Davison? ... wouldn’t surprise if both returned and brought their kids too..

Really positive vibe at the club. Gavin is a fantastic coach, Dale and Co doing great work still to get the club firing off field and many familiar names flocking back to Lionel Ave. Most excited I’ve been before a pre season in many years.

Are the playing group doing anything to help?

Pay reductions etc? This isn’t having a go, Just seeing how the playing list is reacting

You would expect those driving the revival to be controlling that as a collective to ensure the future. The unhappy ones who play for coin will move on but you get the feeling their is some great unity at that club right now. Good on them, it’s a good result all round.

The player budget was cut significantly. It wasn’t out of control before but given the current circumstances it needed to be done. Players are receiving less.

Given the height discrepancy he has no option but to telephone, even when they’re next to each other.
