Not nicknamed “Hulk” for no reason

I swear few years back when he was at Mitchell Park he marked a ball I heard the air squeezed out lol

I’m pretty sure I saw tears coming from the footy after bouncing off his chest

The piss would be bright green! I remember standing him once and he was saying he couldn’t get scratches on his arms because he had a bodybuilding competition the next day

His footy has improved greatly over the years, used to give away lots of stupid free kicks a number of years ago.

Showing my age a little here but I remember a dude playing for Mitcham in the late 90's that was built like an absolute monster, he played CHF and was strong AF, I got moved from my forward flank to play on him one day and then had the envious task the next couple of times we played them.

They werent aware that div 7 players are all volunteers but div 6 clubs have to pay for decent players to do any good div 6 and above

Heard the same, but it was an SAAFL appointed umpire who called it 'Clearly touched' and the Marion goal umpire claims he didnt see it touched.

Lonsdale have the talent on their list to challenge Div 6. I think it is more to with the appointment of the coach and how the previous coach missed out on the gig. Was always going to be hard for Ben as senior coach.

OSB B grade really busted there ass to be competitive on Saturday, had a couple of blokes in the 2's that most definitly should be playing 1's. Irra the stand out the boy is a seriously talented footballer, also O'Leary he was a stand out in the 2's. Great lads as well wouldve been quite easy to go the biff or carry on like idiots but they stuck to the task enjoyble to play against (i guess its easy to say that with the score board the way it was).

In the A grade, OSB were pretty good early, it wasnt a great margin at 1/4 time but OSB just ran out of gas the further the game went on. Rigney didnt play and that hurt them bit time as they had quite a few F50 entries early but no one to kick them a score.

Bus trip to OSB in round 17, That'll be a big day.

I didn't know Irra is in the magoos. O'leary also should be playing 1's, especially if Ben played himself in the ones. Lot of talent not in that side at the moment and I think a lot of it comes back to the appointment of the coach. Definitely would have put a few players off side with the appointment,

How do you go from playing League footy to a Division 6 Reserves side getting done by 20 goals in a matter of 12 months?

OSB/Lonsdale Could be in its first year of a 2 year plan to get a flag.

Judging by my Drive by's on the way home, Numbers don't seem huge so possibly have a few playing B's because they don't train. Respect that regardless of who it may be.

Generally I respect coaches and clubs strong enough to take that stance.. but really you don’t go up a division and recruit a league footballer to play B grade when one of your first goals should be to avoid relegation.

Makes no sense.

Numbers won’t improve if they’re yoyoing between D6 and D7

Being a junior from there maybe they expect more from him. Again I’m only guessing at what the reasoning is. He may be choosing to play 2’s also.

Robert has played 4 A grade and 2 B grade. The first of which B grade was 4 weeks ago. So would assume you were correct in regards to training.

Its a club I would like to survive in at least Div6, Had a rough period & I had hoped a bit of success last year would make them a lot stronger. Div 7 to Div 6 seems to have been a large Jump, However they didn't pump the decent teams last year, a lot of 20-30 point wins from memory. Few recruits have missed a bit of footy as well.
