The Tigers struggled last year following an exodus of players the end of season before, but new coach Dene Steele has wasted little time extending the olive branch to his contacts to come to Tigerland.

The 'outs' of Brooks and Wright are significant, not so much the other three, however the 'ins' are equally as unimpressive, with McIntyre, Upton & O'Neil probably the best of the lot. Freeman played in the B grade the other year, if he plays A grade and is fit he could cause some headaches up forward, whilst Burchall adds a bit of backline depth, returning after a season at Houghton. Hrynkiw is no good.

They have a lot of work to do to close the gap on last year, but good start - should be aiming for midpack, a lot will depend on whether McKee plays and if he does how much.

(**) - denotes initial clearance denied
Freeman kicked obver 50 for Westies last year, I reckon he'll make the Lodge a fair bit better than they'd be witrhout him.

McKee will play zero games next year and is on the lookout for a team that is 12-0 come the back half of the year

This is true. Inn 2018 alone I took 100% of our $0 budget.

Looking forward to see how we go in Div 6 next year, more new teams to meet and hopefully beat.
Some new faces next year.
Robert Irra comes back from South, Michael Baker from Cove, Jay Savage from Kenilworth , Shaun Morris from Morphy Parks amongst others plus a few more in the works.
Will be a big challenge hopefully the boys are up for it.

Big news for Farmers with Anthony Spence back flipping on his move to Gepps Cross and staying at Ingle Farm, the lure of winning a premiership with mates too great for the mobile midfielder..

Heard a few things around the traps at Marion. Not your typical SAAFL Div 7 premier in a way that they are a big club with some pretty handy backing. if they get some momentum that they can grow and grow quickly. I’d be shocked if they don’t play in at least week 2 in the finals. I’d even go as far as saying I think they will play in a GF.
