Would suck if only a game separated 4th, 5th & 6th though.. potential to completely miss finals despite sitting top 4 after playing each other twice.

Option 2.
· Each team plays each other twice in the first 14 rounds.
· Then the top four will play each other once to finalise the top four positions.
· At the same time the bottom four teams will play each other once for the fifth spot in the finals if mathematically viable ?
This will result in a 17 round season but with a 4 week final series with the Grand Final being held at Thebarton Oval.
