Where's the GF?

Yes, I know JK said not to ask him where your finals are....but now I know why
Here's the list of potential finals venues for this year.
Half the fun of the lead up to a GF is playing the "Where is it" game.
Unfortunately, the planets have lined up as such that most of the gated clubs are in GF's (or still in contention) and this is why there have been no definitive oval allocations yet.
Will Payneham host a GF if they make it straight through? (They'll have a week off)
Would Salisbury turn down their first GF in years if their B's make it?
The same goes with ROCS and Campbelltown if their A grade has to play in an away prelim (they can't have a home prelim due to where they finish)
These are just some of the possibilities....
Richmond
St Marys
Payneham
Campbelltown
Salisbury
Alberton
Edwardstown
Prospect

A potential Fitzroy v West Croydon game at Salisbury would strike me as less than wise given the events of a few years back.

Exactly, and given that Mr Plod and friends were called out to a H&A game earlier in the year for the same two teams, I'd say that if this was the eventual GF match up, then they may re-think the location

Would Kilburn be in the mix to host? Ideal revenue raiser for them.

Edwardstown would be perfect for a GF I would think.

The ovals listed above is what the league has to choose from at this point.

Towns is a great place for a GF, probably even better now with their new set up

Might be difficult to staff it if they're playing elsewhere in town!

Why does/should the GF have to be at a neutral venue? If you're the highest ranking side, and earned the right, and your ground is suitable then why cant you play at home?

Calm down Chris Scott.
Also, that would strike me as being a pretty unfair advantage to clubs who can secure their oval viz a viz clubs who can't.
You might actually be on to something here.
