So what was it that enticed an ex victorian AFL player to play for a club with no clubrooms for bugger all money? Dont give me his wife is from SA nonsense.

Well sounds like there is no use trying to explain anything to you as you have your mind made up it is for a crap load of cash and school fees for his kids and all that.
Maybe it is for his wife and he has made enough coin out of his AFL days and the bloke has a few buisness inbtrests and inst chasing or needs the cash.

You said it, Maybe. Has the school tailor been to the Goldsack residence yet

In my view the Goldsack recruitment drives the argument that the D1 salary cap should be matched to country leagues rather than the D7 salary cap. No basis for suggesting that there should be a separate college comp.

In any view, I suspect PAOC, SPOC and ROCS would get rather bored playing each other.

I do advocate PAOC getting on with their re-development though.

No idea. It's just a shame, looks like a brilliant proposal that would benefit the Parklands, and in particular football on the parklands that as far as I can tell would be entirely privately funded.

Indictment on the ACC that it hasn't been up and operational for a long time and to the detriment of our comp

You’re from Pt Districts apparently, go ask your Footy Director.

No good asking asking them, they still use nice brown bags under the table to pay blokes.

Under TPPS? Player $400 plus $150 "incentives".

If they're a player-coach $300 plus infinity

In all honesty it would shock me if more than two clubs were breaching the salary cap

And yet the league makes me waste my precious time filling in a pointless TPPS spreadsheet. The biggest load of administrative shit ever introduced.

Many non-metropolitan leagues I agree.

Adelaide Footy League it would genuinely shock me if many clubs have more than $54,000 to spend on footballers let alone the desire to actually do so.

I can say from experience that some weekends top d1 clubs pay less than a third of salary cap.

Having had my first experience at filling out the "premier's question sheet" just you wait for that precious experience.

A series of more inane and useless questions I couldn't envision.

"Do any of your players acquire services or goods from your sponsors?"

"Yes, they acquire beer and spirits from the Kensington Hotel in such volumes that it is impossible to quantify".
