SANFL Community Football Total Player Payments are reduced to $0.00 per game, with travel and after-match awards to remain, for the 2020 season.
A new regulation has been approved by the SA Football Commission and added to the Community Football Regulations reducing the Total Player Payments cap to zero dollars ($0.00) for the 2020 season (this will be captured as Regulation 31.A).
Travel and After Match Award regulations previously provided for in Regulation 31 will remain the same for season 2020.

No issue with TPPS of zero and think it was a good idea to retain incentives.

However, massive pain in the arse to re-do contracts such that they're all $0

1. When do amateur crowds get bigger than 500 except in finals?

2. Would like to see you not allow the protest and then go and arrest everyone.

So I'm assuming the 'trial' games scheduled on the 27th June, to compensate clubs that only drew 4 home games, will be scrapped?

No point without a crowd. Who is going to be policing people from coming and watching football on public grounds?

How many would go and watch a trial? It’s more about getting the team ready for round 1 I would have thought

It's an opportunity to generate some much needed revenue for those clubs that only got 4 home games. Without crowds, there is no point in having the game, especially if there is an added cost of hiring security to make sure there are no spectators.

I understand that and understand the need to generate funds but a trial is important as preparation for round 1

Still two weeks left just chillax.. if we get through the showdown without incident, and nothing comes from the protest last Saturday then can’t see how that crowd lifting shouldn’t come toward.

If it remains as not 500 until 4 July the schedule should be shifted back a week.

Optimistic it won't come to that, but it would put clubs in an impossible situation with respect to dispersing crowds.

Clubs wont be expected to police the protocols, just need to have appropriate signage up, its up to each individual in the ground to stick to the rules.

Unless you have a community club on the premises which the football club doesn't control. If the community club is limited to 20 patrons in line with the guidelines, meanwhile people are congregating in large masses in the licensed area, which generally includes large swathes of outside the club itself it puts the community club in an impossible position in terms of complying with its Covid safe plan.
