Not that I'm making excuses.. but it seems that perhaps the emotion of the occasion gets the better of a couple of players.. Units haven't had a great deal of on field success in recent seasons, last flag in 2006 from memory so obviously a lot riding on it for some of them.

Probably not fair to brand the club on the actions of a few either.

From AdFL?

2 games in last years GF, 8 games vs TOS earlier this season.. if he gets games from the weekend, then i'm pretty sure he'll go over the 12 game threshold?

The club has been run by some amazing people doing everything they can to make it a great club again.
They do everything right off field and it was disappointing to have a couple people let them down doing silly things.

I can tell you noone would ever be dumb enough to deliberately spit anywhere near the West Croydon coach so don’t believe all you hear.

CEO just looks like a regular punter so without seeing the alleged incident, I would only say it would not be uncommon for players to not recognise him and possibly react to a random intervention by him in a heated moment. I don’t believe any action was taken.

I can only judge what I saw onfield and I saw some great blokes battling for the full 100minutes against an onslaught, full respect to them for battling it out. Loved the big cheer when they finally scored.

You'd think not, but i've heard the same thing from more than a handful of people - and two in particular are pretty good sources.

Moving on, seasons over.. congrats to Trinity - like it or not, best club all season in both grades.. credit where due - Matt Perry carried them. 8)

It'll be a lonely year next season on these threads with Ingle Farm going to D7 and TOS / WC going to D5. Who am I to abuse now? :'(

Serious question

Is the TOS undefeated season in 2022 better than the Elizabeth undefeated season in 2021?

Not fair to try and compare undefeated seasons, they're both ridiculous achievements.. I didn't see D6 last year, but would think the competition for Elizabeth was tougher against TOS, BOS, St Paul's as opposed to this season.

Trinity B Grade back to back is a fair effort.

I didn’t phrase that well, was more so wondering who had the perceived tougher competition.

Elizabeth did ok in Div 5 this season but didn’t trouble too many of the top 6

Elizabeth lost some talent from last season, I'm not sure if who came in outweighed their losses though.
