I dont get this, and perhaps someone that was there can provide me with an answer

A team kicks 1 point for a whole game, yet - was the Units defence THAT good, because it's not like the Tossers kicked 20 or 30 goals on them.

They had almost 30 scoring shots and kicked 17 points!

Any truth to the rumour that Trinity made a deal with Rostrevor to access and train on the so called neutral oval mid week?
Was West Croydon offered the same advantage?

Happens every year.

Pulteney trained at Edwardstown in 2017 before GF.. we trained at Kilburn two weeks in a row at Kilburn in 2019..

Can’t hate on them for thinking outside the box.

First in, first serve would be my guess. As a host you don’t go ringing clubs and offering to host training, however you can always call the host and ask.

A real college side thing to do then? Lol

Wouldn’t have made a difference anyways, they were too structured and well drilled. Will prob go very well in Div 5.

What a silly comment about training on the GF oval in the lead up to the GF. Clubs have been doing this for years. It's called initiative.

Didn’t see any crowd issues on the club wing side at all, but spent half my time hiking up Mt Everest to get drinks from the bar.

On field it was one player with 2 yellows for allegedly dumb stuff I missed both times that resulted in a red. Didnt see any other issues during play.

CU experienced defence certainly fought hard all day causing a lot of pressure but had absolutely nothing going inside 50. Scoreline tells an accurate story.

Thats some sorta facility they have there at Campbelltown btw! Very nice

Word getting around is the coach was carded, the runner was evicted and the team was read the riot act from the CEO at quarter time for their behavior and discipline.

Also heard rumours he was told to **** off by a couple of Units players who didn't realise who he was, and another Units player who called him a stupid old c***.. same player then apparently spat at the West Croydon Coach.

Sounds like I shouldn’t have went to the bar at 1/4 time! The player carded was the coach if that helps the rumour mill.

Yep - HV did it in 2008. Didn't do us any favours ultimately, but at the time it was a great opportunity to get acclimatised to the surroundings.

I had never heard of it before! Maybe I’m too much of a socialist but would’ve thought both A grade sides should get afforded the same opportunity.
But guess if u don’t ask u don’t receive.
