Other game was Brahma easy against what looked like an U17 side from Fitzroy, obviously heavily undermanned.

9 out due to covid and injury, so we blooded a heap of the 17s. they actually did quite well against men. There's a really good feeling between the seniors and the kids coming through.

Am I missing something? Are we not allowed to ask questions anymore?

Simple yes or no would’ve sufficed.

Jacob sumner won’t be back this year.
Had a beer with him Saturday after the game at the kennel and himself and a couple others that can’t play at the hawks would like to play atleast one year together.

Awesome post match chin wags with the Rosie’s boys. The old derby days are a bit different to what they use to be! It was great to see an awesome game of footy and then everyone have froffies together.

Well done to shrill and cats over there I know the work they’ve put in and continue to do.

i know that Shane Catteral and Dylan Lockwood have been good for the club in the last couple of years is what a few at portland are telling me but gee i would think the new coach deserves most of the credit for the work he has done since september aswell. i understand he was at west croydon and there would be some issues form that but i believe he did a pretty impressive job in his time there ???. . just my opinion.

Too much love going on here, we haven't won a game yet!

Ladder after Round 4
8 - Trinity OS
6 - West Croydon
5 - Central United
4 - Marion
4 - Brahma Lodge
----------------------------

2 - Ingle Farm
2 - Para Hills
1 - Rosewater
0 - Fitzroy

Round 5
Central United vs Marion
West Croydon vs Para Hills
Ingle Farm vs Rosewater
Trinity OS vs Fitzroy
Brahma Lodge: Bye

Interesting ladder and round of matches coming up - Central United v Marion will be a great clash, and good honest account of where each club stacks up this year. Great to see the Units going well early after some difficult years. I know it's early, but when would've been the last time CU played D6 finals?

Trinity look well ahead of the rest, but didn't do it as easy as expected Saturday.. hosting Fitzroy this weekend they may really put a dampener on the Roys season and leave them footed to the bottom of the ladder.

West Croydon should take care of Para Hills and firm as the major threat to Trinity this season, whilst Ingle Farm host Rosewater in the Grant "Scab" Burns Cup match.. both sides have had difficult starts to the season with limited success, and both will be eager to got on the winners list, and some breathing space from the bottom of the ladder.

Only 4 rounds in, but it's hard to see the top 5 changing this season - the top sides are well clear of the middle of the pack, who appear a long way ahead of the bottom few.

More details please??!

Come on mate he isn't the #1 ticket holder - that's reserved for FC ;)

To add some context, that's the first the club has seen of him in over 12 months since he was given his marching orders early last year, he is actually a registered Salisbury North player

Also I think he has been made very aware that nobody wants to see him again after his little performance at the ground and when he rolled back in the club

My sincerest apologies to BLFC.. wasn't aware he wasn't part of the club anymore.

Tigers were good in both grades Saturday, very unlucky in the A grade - should've iced the game in the 3rd quarter but bad kicking cost the team.. then Farmers with a Houdini kicking 2 goals in 3 minutes to steal the win was very unexpected.

Handy sorts on each line, missing Justin Davies, he would've changed the forward dynamic a fair bit. Midfield dominated led by two very good rucks.

Para hills struggling big time. Have heard b grade will forfeit this week.
Few unhappy people down there with the A grade coach and the board.
Will be lucky to see season out.
West Croydon by 200+ pts this week

If you time it right you should be able to catch the 492B from the changerooms to the oval.
