Huge day at Parks planned this weekend with the joint '02 and '12 20 year and 10 year Premiership reunions

The teams are getting back together and playing each other! Messrs Leck, Hay, Colquhoun, Griffin, L.McDonnell vs N.McDonnell, Potuzynski, Davidson, Schneider et Al

Well worth coming down and enjoying the fun if you're around

I would be very surprised if this were to occur. Greenacres 10 goal better side than Lutheran.

I (& a few other mates) would pay good money to see Scooter Weekly running around and more to see how he pulls up….

Neither, 2002 was my first year of football. Was in the training squad but nowhere near good enough for that side. 2012 had knee and I'll be honest, motivation issues, my LARS surgery didn't hold and needed a proper reconstruction before getting back into it.

Playing Bs on the weekend if you want to come heckle.

The 2002 side was a very good line up and I honestly thought they’d go on to play in higher divisions. Our minor round game at Mitchell Park that year was one of the better games I’d seen in that period. @zedman with probably the best goal I’ve seen to this day in Amateur footy (Even though he meant to centre it)….

Haven't had a better side since. It was probably the last of the traditional Mitchell Parks sides eg full of ex juniors and locals that had been there forever. It was on the older end though, we went up to D5, made the finals with a strong record and lost a tight elimination final against a CBC side that went on to win the flag.

Had some good sides but nothing like that team. Walking out into a back six of Shaun Moyle, Bernie Kusterman, Adam Hay, Jeremy David, Phil Pike was certainly reassuring for a young morell

At least one team had white shorts so there was no confusion
Skins wouldn't have been a good idea

The 2012 team turned the jumpers inside out and wore white. Skins would have been real ugly :D

Remaining single is how you become a multi-millionaire.

Yeah it's D7R, yeah it's probably not that important a game

But today's Mitchell Park vs Adelaide Lutheran ressies game was epic. 176 point turn around from earlier in the year.

Mitchell Park were mismatched, outclassed, slower, shorter, less fit, either too old or too young. Mitchell Park were also winners. :D
