I'm reasonably confident if a bloke has played 150+ games for Norwood I'm familiar with them, but it seems outside of Norwood unless you're a Magarey Medal winner I have a pretty limited understanding of who the player is.

Given people here are higher-level footy tragics, can many people relate (in respect of what's a lowering of the estimation of League footy in general)?

https://sanfl.com.au/league/news/thanks-for-the-memories-2022/

By way of example, in that article I knew of Redden (played for the Power) and Allmond, but between Bradley, Hill, Keough and Overall there seem to be remarkably accomplished footballers who are significantly more anonymous than had they played 10, 20 or 30 years earlier.

Came across this in that link

The Premierships section would only be a page in this book

Not sure, reckon the Havens ones were Coopers. If the Largs Legends were behind the Districts ones they're probably Hahn 3.5

The NH ones were Hahn Super Dry (full and also a batch of mid strength) and a Big Shed beer (possibly Royal Park Lager) from memory done through Print Wrap Pack at Hindmarsh.
They did our cricket club ones too and they're Print Wrap Pack's own beer, 89 South Brewing.

Yeah we mentioned this on the Between the Posts Christmas edition. Where you sometimes hear it first  From memory they have signed 3 crucial pieces to the puzzle.
Abe will be the big bodied mid on little Webb Oval who will be invaluable
A big forward from West Adelaide whose name escapes me plus one more
Throw in book ends Sam Smith who played 2 games last year and Instagram model Tom Langford who played about 5 and the little battling club that has come up from Div 6 will be one to watch this year.
The PNU Falcs 2005,06,13 x 2,14 and Div 1 Premiers in 2019......The SA 3peat - 2003,04,05

The Westies player is Lyndon Upfeld.

I would be surprised if Abe is not played as a forward. His signing surprises me.

Looks like the D1 Premiers taking on the D2 Premiers Round 1 at Broadies.

Good way to see where you are at coming back into D1 ;)
