Yank Man if fairness to the Roos it has been a rebuilding year
After the 21 flag 14 A grade players retired or left Coach has been strong with players with not training.
One player left for CLG after being told he was going dwn to B's,
your big Div 1 recruit has not been training, coachs setting strong message for players
not training.
Major injuries to key players, players travelling, working away, work in general, makes for a tough year
But a lot off positives, Ben came to the club knowing no one and the club
B's best season in yrs, c' playing finals for first time
in some 20 yrs, at the end off the day all clubs have there issues
disappointing as it is the coachs have set a standard and up to
players to work harder for improvement.

Super surprised with a few teams this year. Thought Morphies might have been pushing for finals but not having the Barns boys most the year makes it a bit more difficult. I honestly thought that Mitcham would have been pushing to play finals let alone getting relegated they are going to need to recruit hard next year as i suspect they will lose a lot of players which is dangerous. Heccies are my biggest surprise especially with them losing Mazzone thought they would struggle in Divvy 4 but fair play to them! Pooraka the team to beat suspect they should be in div 3 next year

I imagine it's constitutional, it was probably a 1 year contract. You would think coming up a division and making finals would be enough for the club to be happy. But they did sack all their coaches last season after an A grade premiership so you never know.

Bray Rafanelli and his super sidekick Matt Lucas are absolute geniuses! What they've achieved to get Lockleys to D3 is nothing short of incredible.

It wasn't that long ago, Lockleys were running around in D6 - ultra competitive but couldn't quite nail the finish - now they've managed to go BANG real quick and rise.. along with the new developed clubrooms, they're becoming very much a club of choice in that region.

Good luck in the Grand Final, and your journey in D3.

As a point of interest, was speaking to a Lockleys junior coach on the weekend, they had 5 lads 18 in the the side that won on the weekend i believe.
Over the years Henley tend to end up with their top juniors for some reason, maybe $$$$$$$, don't know.
Henley certainly arn't the apple of Lockley's eyes and they are looking forward to challenging the demoted Sharks who reside 5 minutes away, maybe the tide is about to turn.

CBCOC coach Brett Simpson has done a fantastic job to get the Dolphins into D3 and a Premiership to go with it.
He had some very wise heads on the sideline in his coaching staff that know a thing or two about premierships.

Well Done Little Sinbad!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
