Why would you want to keep someone that doesn’t want to be there?

Hopefully they haven’t paid him anything upfront

I wouldn't want to keep him - but I also wouldn't want him landing another job whilst as a club we are without a senior coach. Further to that, I'd be filthy if he quit to go to greener pastures this close to the start of the season - he should be watching footy as a spectator only this season.

If he was a contracted player who wanted to jump ship, there would be massive uproar.

He’s a coward and a pea heart, wouldn’t have taken long for Mitchell park to realise they made a mistake signing him either way.. There’s a reason he’s been moved on from every other club he’s been involved in! Think it’s time for old mate cabbage to realise he’s not cut out for it, all he does he spit the dummy and cry when things aren’t going his way.. A 16 year old kid doesn’t want to train 3 times a week to play Div 5 amateur football, well that’s the end of the world lol.. absolute loser

You probably know him better than most bleedredandblue but it’s not an ideal situation for Mitchell Park with its young and dedicated new committee. Just hope it works out well for a club I love like no other.

We'll be right old mate. Takes more than this to derail us

Massive response from the playing group tonight with close to 40 on the track.

Some positive news to come very shortly as well.

Definitely sucks for something like this to happen so close to the season, but it’s something I would expect from him tbh.. Still 6 weeks until round 1 and I’m telling you Mitchell park will be better for it.. Obviously speaks volumes of the man if they’ve got 40 blokes turning up to training the second he steps down lol

We would like to inform our community of some changes to our coaching group.
Mark Kamenic has decided to step down with immediate effect from his role as Men’s Senior Coach. Our committee has already begun preparations for appointing Mark’s replacement and will be in a position to announce some exciting news shortly.

Feel free to ask any questions through our committee email and we will answer them as promptly as possible.

Club should move on fine. I heard numbers on the track were great last night. Inside source has told me that experienced recruit Toby Ferguson could be heir to the throne at MP

Eh we're looking at it positively.

Also a reflection of timing, we're just stating to get our teeth into the season, cricket is finishing, the weather is cooling. Numbers were always going to pick up. Which just makes the reasoning of "poor numbers at training" seem even more like bullshit. But whatever, Mark will be the one to live with his decision, not us. We've already moved on and removed coleslaw from our menus.

I think we're all a little bit in love with Toby. I know I have a crush on him in a really straight way.

In all seriousness he's been great all preseason and we're very lucky to have him at our club. Exactly what we need.

I would think so, but that’s why they’re called trial games - and when you’re in D7 there aren’t much options of sides on similar level.. everyone is higher up the food chain.

Last time we played we only won by a couple of goals, so dont expect to be giving you a touch up* at all.

Harris masterclass sunk the Farmers. Rosies 6 goals to 2 after halftime from memory. Disappointing loss.

We are just eager to have a hit out this season, if we cared about winning we would’ve tried to find softer opposition.

Looking forward to seeing the new lights out there.
