SAAFL State Open Age Team.

Postby Shirtfront » Tue May 01, 2007 9:44 am

Can't tell me that this team wouldn't smack the pants off the Under 23 team.

FF: Cook Lister Smith
(Broad) (Rocs) (Gepps)

HF: Cutting Earl Chambers
(Sals Nth) (Good) (TTG)

C: Wicks Casey Horndhart
(TTG) (Broad) (Broad)

HB: Pitt Stevens Spencer
(TTG) (Broad) (Good)

FB: Mitchell Mortimer Radetti
(Mod) (Sals Nth) (Gaza)

Ruck: Golding Bartel Chadwick
(Edtwn) (Good) (Rocs)

Int: Gibson Haythorpe Demasi Jordan
(TTG) (Gaza) (Good) (Sals Nth)

Adjusted as per half way mark of season. Would be good to hear this being discussed on the morning show this week as Div 1 have the bye. And Under 23 game this week hopefully they win and its the last we see of this Under 23 crap.

Point taken, overlooked at intial stage. Put him on the bench probaly swap with Casey out the middle. CAREY, Pascoe is in the team due to his size and experience, i am talking about really playing this team, he would take a big defender leaving the likes of Lister, Smith and Cutting to play freely around him. Haven't seen enough of Jordan to comment.

Surely Luke Pastyn from Henley would get a gig in that side.

Pretty close to the money, i had it out of Golding and Pastyn. Went with Golding cos he is in better form at the moment but wasn't much in it.

I have got Golding (Edwardstown) in the ruck, D Golding is a rover from TTG and in better form that Pastyn at this time.

Exactly, was in the best's for the Under 23's last year and pretty much brings his own footy to the games, should still be with the magpies, and there should be a better wingman in the comp other than Daniel Wicks.....Surely, Braver........Definatley.
