I think the last time we played them (2001?), the jumper was green with gold trim and a gold logo on the front with BKFC mixed together, bit like Carlton.

Are they still around, no?? :?

i remember watch them Vs Eastern Park, in a Div 6 Final and some boneheaded thug from B/K king hit Eastern Parks Carey Payne, it was one of the most gutless things to see on a field, the bloke would have been 6 foot 100kgs and carey would have been 5ft something and about 75 kilo's wringing wet. still it's a shame about some of these metroploitan clubs disappearing.

Kookas, drop into the club, we still have a whole set that Owen kept when they folded, we were using them as clash jumpers until we got the new ones last year...

Mate, she's offering you a guernsey!
You should be buying her a beer.

Rooster - although it's no excuse for decking someone, but Carey wouldn't have given incentive by being a bit Lippy would he?

Ha ha ha - no way!
I used to hate him as a kid - mouthy little opponent with that freakish leap.
But played in same team with him for a while and found he wasn't a bad bloke.

Do you reckon a mate of mine would be able to get hold of the number 10 guernsey? He's been trying to chase it down to frame it for his old man who won 3 association medals playing for Burnside Kensington. Let Owen know it's for Max Hunt's son and he should know who he is

I also remember that prelim final. My memory is that after the first bounce Mick Gilmour (Who won the assosiation medal by a country mile after playing 13 games) was king hit after the first bounce.Kicked in the head whilst on the ground and had his ear bitten half off after 45 seconds. Also during a brawl later in the game he had players from Eastern park trying to rip the remainder of his ear off...........So it may have been a gutless act but it would have been provoked during the game.Any way that was 10 years ago and history speaks for its self.
