Grass Roots TV Show

After a slowish start GR TV ended 2005 in pretty good shape. There was an official ratings survey conducted at the end of the season which covered August and apart from being belted for 2 shows by Ashes cricket, GR peaked at 15,000 households viewing. This did not include people that may have been watching at thier footy club.
Given the feedback from year 1 it appears that GR is on the road to a second season of covering SAAFL in 2006.
Any feedback or comments are always appreciated.

Grass Roots is a top show, I taped the episode in which PNU was featured (after the 2nd semi) but it didnt work out too well, would be great if I could grab a dvd of the episode.
Format wise, definately no complaints, looking forward to the 2006 season... when is it looking at starting again? Perhaps a pre season show is in order, to verify ins and outs for the coming season...

FC....There is a DVD copy of each episode held at SAAFL house. I think they usually let people borrow to copy for 24 hrs.
Thanks for the feedback

Loved the show, maybe you could touch on some cricket during the early days,if of course you get on air before the footy season starts.Robbo would love to talk about the cricket,he made some runs ONCE this year.
And Thatcher hit a six!

Loved the rooters. All at the Raggies are looking forward to a new series in 2006.
Grassroots does need some help with funding though. All other SAAFL posters, please let your club administration know that you want them to commit to the $200 per club to fund this show for 2006. If is only a small increase to affiliation fees and probably works out cheaper than the Sportsbeat contribution for on On the Full. The $200 will also ensure that your Club gets its own copy on DVD each week.
There is a great benefit in being on the TV each week.

HANG ABOUT!!!!
Who was this confirmed by? Not by me... I was propositioned* by Kym and Mick last Monday, and told them I would consider, perhaps a segment or something, but I said to them I dont think I know enough about the other grades to warrant commenting on them on a telly show. Hell, I dont even get to watch my own game, let alone anyone else's!!!
Nice try Carey....
