3 votes per person, as it is difficult to seperate many of these guys...

Think you are missing a few players but where do you stop?

Far to hard to do as there are some great players in div 2, 3 and 4 and dont forget scott matthews playing in div 7. That shephard guy playing for rosewater, Porplycia for smosh just to mention a few.

Possibly could have a seperate topic for different divisions, its hard to rank anyone playing div 7 against someone playing div 1, no matter how good they are

Is that Scott Matthews that was on the power list and played for Eagles (sanfl)

Pretty sure he is playing for Trinity OS

how can you rank anyone as ' THE ' best player in anything ? i'v always said wayne carey is the best CHF of all time and leigh matthews the best onballer of his time but how the hell do you say who is the best of all time ? you cant put a rover against a CHF . and then you have guys like voss and hird ( which i dont like ) that can just play anywhere on the ground so i think its very hard to say who the best player in the saafl is but its worth discuss'n i guess .

very good defender but they cant be anywhere near the best players its all about forwards boys!

I agree with the whole apples vs apples problem; that is partly the reason why I set the poll to allow 3 votes per person, that way you can go with your best fwd / mid / def etc - There is a good reason why forwards and midfielders are the highest paid players at any level of Australian Rules football [AFL > A5 amateurs]... Because they are the 'best' players...

Yes it must be so hard to kick the ball between two posts. said state of affairs i think. forwards only have to run onto the ground to get in the best.

best player i have seen would be H by a hair

Sean Coard From seaton is the best player in SAAFL. No ifs buts or maybes!!

Number 12 for Seaton , everyone in Div1 or 2 will know him!!!
