Yep, good get. I have no problem with Warne retiring, what I find problem with is all this speculation that filtered through the media for 48 hours, it was better than laxettes. I would just like to see us sit back and wait until we hear it from Warne himself before the media start telling us it's over.

I even heard one truly ridiculous comment from an idiot in the media (name will remain undisclosed) who said that he hoped Warne is going to retire, especially since the media had said it was going to happen. So, in others words, he would rather the greatest leggie in the game retire rather than the media being wrong. I find that really sad to be honest.

Seriously all this talk about Cullen and Bailey is a bit over the top. Both are extremely promising but Warne's replacement is pretty straight forward. The second best spin bowler in the world, Stuart MacGill.

I never said for a moment that Bailey should replace Warne. He's not ready. What I have said all along is he is a better leg spin prospect than Cameron White. I think Bailey will play for Australia one day, but maybe not for another 3-4 years.
