Let's hope that there is lots more to come. BTW, was it just me who was thinking 'why all the easy singles'? They were defending 159 FFS.

No, it wasn't just you. The Poms really don't know how to play this game tactics-wise. I had a laugh this morning when Flintoff moved the fielder from deep on the pull shot to Symonds. Chappell said it only took them 155 runs to work out he wasn't going to hit it there.

Hopefully Roy's test career can follow a similar path to his one day job now that he has had that breakthrough knock, as he did at Wanderer's (I think) in the last World Cup.

i retract my statement about it being a batting paradise it was a bowling minefield.................LEE had 2/39 AT ONE STAGE and finished with a 4/40 odd
