Time SACA spend money in development starting from country areas looking for the best talent and making sure all areas have suitable turf decks then ensuring the grade cricket get professional as possible like the sanfl clubs.
things are moving forward. Adelaide CC despite not having a State Contracted player on their books train 3 times a week like SANFL clubs. Not sure if it is helping in any way because the Buffalos are currently hold up the table along with Prospect and East Torrens![]()
Good to see the 'backs dig deep and put some pride on the line after the horror 1st dig.
How can you expect and demand professionalism when you have your A Grade players paying 3-400 bucks in subs, not getting paid, and your gun recruit in A4 SAAFL gets 200 per game. Compare the level and tell me how that equality exists, I could still get a kick in A4 (only 1 though). That is why there is such a gap between SACA and Grade and High Performance has a very tenious link to Grade. Even the Futures League being a U23 comp has a big gap between it and first class, think that needs revisiting, all our contracted players not able to play.
More importantly how is Deano down at Buffalo Land.
And Media - agree entirely, constant bagging doesn't help, support where we can.
Wow i think we hitting the issue of what it costs to play grade cricket. wonder what its like in other states?
Certainly does cost that much and its hard for clubs to attract larger/any sponsors.
