I can confirm it was not Andrew Zessrs who was the ex player
who was interviewed for SA cricket coach.

there was speculation about Tom Moody being approached for the job, but he would get more money coaching WA then he does currently with Sri lanka.....

Im now pleased Mark SORREL got the gig

Of which the SACA couldn't afford because they're paying out everyone's contracts they didn't fulfill. Possibly the reason why they did choose Sorrel, because he was the only one they could afford. Not a bad thing though. We all know a high profile doesn't necessarily = success. Hopefully all at the SACA will be pushing in the same direction from now on and Sorrel gets the players playing to their full ability.

There is so much wealth being accumulated in WA at the moment it will be interesting to see if it flows through to their various sporting teams .... bit off topic but I was interested to see how many WA Business people made it in to the BRW Top 200 Rich List recently

Reliable source informs me Kym Harris was the man. Thoughts? Personally i don't know much about him but someone on here might.

Is your reliable source The Advertiser? I think it was mentioned in there a little while ago that Harris was approached by Marsh after seeing the work he had done with Bailey's batting. In the end he has been appointed batting coach at the Redbacks after Sorrel got the main gig.

After reading ROD/AERIE posts it seems very logical that ROD is on the ball.
If hes the batting coach now , then it makes sense he might have been an applicant for coach
