Stumps day two- Pakistan 3/257, trial by 40 runs. Ali 139 (ran out on the last ball of the day), Aslam 82, Khan 21 not out.

England with stunning come from behind victory to now lead the series 2-1. Pakistan lost four wickets for just one run in 23 balls before tea as they went from 1/79 to 7/125 and were bowled out for 201 with England winning by 141 runs.

England second innings- 6/445, Ali 86 not out, Bairstow 83

Pakistan second innings- 201, Aslam 70, Ali 38. Two wickets each for Anderson, Broad, Woakes, Finn and Ali.

Well he got it right at the Oval, 218. If the Windies draw with India in the next test and Australia can't win then Pakistan are the number one ranked team in the world. That's a fair effort for a team who hasn't played a test in their home nation for six years.

What Pakistan have done is one of the greatest achievements in Cricket History. Not only can they not play in Pakistan but after their last tour of England in 2011 they were in a catastrophic state after the Cheating by Butt, Amir and Asif but Misbah took control and has incredibly led them to almost number 1 in the world. He and the rest of the team deserve a lot of credit. They were the better team for this series and really should of won if not for a bad couple of sessions in the third test.

I'm interested to see how they go here in the summer as it will be another huge test. I'm not sure their batting is good enough to survive but if the Aussies produce flat pitches it may suit them as they do have a good bowling line up. Going to be great to watch.
