Kuala Perara played one of the dumbest shots in the history of cricket overnight. Opening bat, second ball of the innings and he spooned a wide ball straight to point. Apparently The Toad has a doppelganger.

Controversy in the 2nd Test between West Indies and Sri Lanka, with the Sri Lankan team unhappy over the ball being changed - they have not come out to play on the third day, and team management are arguing with the match referee and umpires.

Will be interesting to see how the ball tampering charges against Sri Lankan captain Chandimal play out.

I think countries like us should hang our heads in shame when the likes of Zimbabwe and Bangladesh produce the sort of results they do. The fact that we haven't played a test against the Bangas or Zim here in Aust since 2003 it's no wonder they don't improve.

Yes it's not commercially viable for the likes of us, Eng and NZ to play these countries but if we want world cricket to be stronger we've got to play them more often.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Play these guys as our 'winter' home series.....Darwin/Cairns/Townsville would be the place to be...

Ireland might be a bit difficult as it's their summer.

All nations produce the occasional "shocker", we're good for one a year.

Maharaj 8 wickets Lankans 277/9

They might have finally found their spinner just too late for Kallis Smith DeVilliers etc.
Dave Warner will be missed!
