6/307 at stumps, some good fight from the Indian's. England winning the toss and bowling obviously thought the pitch and conditions were going to do more than they did.

Yep the Indian's slip catching has been very good in this match.
Root and Pope trying to be super positive wanting to get bat on ball isn't probably the right mind set in this situation. Mike Atherton talking about the learning curve for Pope in this innings and him having to become more patience. All the pressure now on strokemakers Stokes and Buttler to hang in there.

On a side note, I reckon Pope's stance looks similar to Ian Bell.

He has a strange technique, looks like he's trying to smother rather than defend the ball.
