Aus gets up in the third ODI

Postby stan » Mon Mar 06, 2006 9:27 am

Aus 6/254 from our 50 overs.

Ponting was back top scoring with 62 and martyn hit 50 and katich ran him self out on 49. Although the bit of fielding from AB devillers was exceptional.

South Efrica 230

Only devillers and Pollock passed 50 for the home side. Australia bowled much better, Brett lee picked up 4 wickets.

The Australian line-up looks a whole lot better with Ricky Ponting coming in at no. 3

How much longer can both Katich/Martyn hold their places in the side? They seem to make just a enough runs each time to warrant them retaining a place for another couple of matches.

Unfortunately no!

The nickname does not actually orginate from the band, I am not a huge fan.

But it does make me sound more interesting than what I probably am, so I will go with it all!

2 all with one to play at the "Bullring" in Johanesburg. Last time we played there we made 2 for 360 (World Cup Final) so bring it on boys

Hmm what do you think is going through the Seth Eficins heads after all the comments they made when they were 2 zip up?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yeah, watching Punter on Fox Sports News last night was priceless when he got told Smith had said the Aussies, ahem "chocked"!!

Me thinks it could be fun to watch tonights game as the "chat" could be quite interesting.

Smithy Smithy Smithy, when are you going to learn to not give the Aussies boys motivation.......
