Think India will need over 400 here.

Then again England may have the fire power to chase that down with Root, Bairstow, Stokes and Pope, but surely just surely Bairstow has to miss out shortly

Saw it on the highlights this morning and I agree, looked like it was a little half volley into Shreyas Iyers hands to me.

India should win from here but whatever they set England I expect them to have a red hot crack at chasing it which should make for an exciting finish.

The on field call was out. The 3rd umpire could not over rule that.

There wasn't enough conclusive evidence that the ball hit the ground was there?

India currently 7/229, lead by 361 at Lunch day 4.
4/104 from 28 overs in that session.

England chasing 378 and Lees get them off to a flyer with his 50 coming off 44 balls. Surely they can't do it again.

Finished 3-259....

Bowling teams out in a fourth innings is a new ball game in test cricket.

Stokes did say at the toss he wanted to bowl first coz they wanted to chase……the batters have backed him up .

Kohli flog rating seems to be on the rise in this Test.

His batting does not supplement his antics lately. A disgruntled former Captain is all he is at the moment.

Full credit to England but India have batted, bowled and fielded like absolute trash over the past two days. They are going to pay the price for throwing away their wickets yesterday some ridiculous outs. And the bowling has been park cricket standard, both sides of the wicket and only Bumrah looking a threat. Not sure how many times we get to hear 'how unlucky is Shami' before we work out he's not as good as we keep getting told.

regards,

REB

Might be unbearable in 12 months if the Poms play like this against us. These two could bat with a stump and still make runs.
