I expect TDK to come back at me and put me back in my place with some stats [emoji38]

I don't recall him bowling a spell where he's been completely on top of the batsman. He has the ability to bowl the odd good cherry but in the main is too inconsistent to really trouble most class top orders and Englands top order is that.

102 wickets at 31.83, SR 54 Econ 3.5.

So every 9 overs he's 1/31. Hardly world class.

I think Booney is right and I don’t have any stats at the moment to defend him but I'll have a look at his record and see if there's anything outstanding that's worth posting, I can't stand the sight of him though, comes across as an absolute coat and I enjoy watching him getting hit around the park.

The second England v India test starts tonight at Edgbaston, India have played eight tests there and haven't won. England's team is unchanged.

Not sure why you're surprised. England will bowl first most of the time and to be fair English pitches at the moment just get better to bat on. Kind of similar to NZ wickets now just less green to start with. Funnily English wickets have become flatter then Australian pitches the last few seasons.

Exactly, it's obviously just the method they look to go with now, they have the confidence to chase anything in the forth innings. The pressure is on India to score really big in the first innings and more so bowl better than what they did in the first test.

It was forecast that Bumrah wouldn't play and would be rested in either the second or third test.
Sudharsan potentially stiff to be dropped after just one match?
I would of liked to have seen Kuldeep play (and maybe to a lesser extent Arshdeep), Reddy and Sundar appear to be defensive options.
