I was more coming from the angle of how well us regular muppets/nuffies would go doing what Carey did last Test.

I read an article about when the top MLB batters pick up the line & speed of the pitches. It is absolutely scary
The pitch is 60 feet and they pick it up around 15 - 18 feet from the plate so they have about 100 milliseconds to react
I cant remember who but there was one batter that could pick it up around 25 feet from the bat

This is why a successful player fails 7 times out of 10!


And, to be pedantic, it's 60 feet, 6 inches

Ronnie just also said that Cummins is in for Adelaide and that Boland won’t be rested.
Looks like Neser and Doggett to make way for Cummins and Lyon. Be interesting to see if Khawaja comes straight back in

With Hazlewood turning 35 in early January and showing signs of old man injuries, is that it for him?

We are scheduled for 1 test at home against Afghanistan in late July so doubt that goes ahead.
So yeah, September in South Africa and then the sheep fiddlers in 4 tests here over summer before heading to India in January
