It makes you think. Would Australia have done any worse if they'd played Matthew Hayden in this one day series? Unlikely. Would they have done better? Maybe. Would the young players in the side learnt more having him around? Most likely.

Yeah, but for a lot of people age is mainly seen as an obstacle, rather than a useful attribute. As we can see when a player has a bad run and is over 35.

Albie Morkel is in trouble after a collision with van Jaarsveld. He really lifted Morkel up off the ground as a result of the collision.

Be interesting to know if it matches the egg that Stuart O'Grady copped. ;)

That's funny, the initial instinct from Tsotsobe was to threaten to shy at the stumps, then he turns around and gives a fairly confident appeal for the caught. Even though basically no-one else was interested in it, it was clearly out on the replay!

If anything this batting at the death goes to show how good Albie Morkel is at this stage compared to the Australian batsmen. And Duminy for that matter. Tsotsobe should get MOTM, 4 wickets and a catch.

Outplayed in all facets really in this series. The lower order batting in particular, when you consider the swing and misses tonight and the way South Africa go about it.

"It's a batsmans game" can be described for the MOTM decision to give it to Amla. Considering the pitch was more a batsmans friend than foe, Tsotsobe should have got it for 4 wickets on debut.

Very disappointing indeed, does this mean the South African's are number 1 ODI team?
