SA 9/230
36 NEEDED OF 12 BALLS
We cant win this from here

We continue to bat our keeper at 4
We continue to lose

The 2 allrounders had big days ....

ROY
4 RUNS
0/48[10]
Why are they playing the has been
He was a favourite player of mine, but his eye is gone and his batting is lamentable for over a year now

DAN CHRISTIAN
1/52[8]
46 [35]
And yes he has become arguably the best o/d player in the team

KLINGER 74 was the backbone

SA 236 all out
4 games
4 losses
4 batting spot ....

All over S.A. all out for 236 at the end of the 49th over.

One must really question this SA batting lineup order

big problems with the batting style and also the order

once again we were terribly slow from our experienced openers, which quickly saw the required run rate go over 6 an over.

for mine i think we need to open with cooper who is probably our most natural scorer based on this season but every time he gets in he is following a slow start. borgas and chrsitian also need to come up the order. at th emoment i dont think klinger and harris can play in teh same side - especially when cossie is over his hamstring injury.

i think teh top 7 should be looking like this. gives 1 solid opener with some natural scoring then borgas is reasonably versatile which gives good balance for a 50 over game.

harris/ klinger
cooper
borgas
cosgrove
christian
manou
o'brien

as for the bowlers i would like to see george back in, either for tait or weeks - proabably weeks as tait theoreticaly has a bigger upside if things go right.

MAYZ
The forgotten man who opened the bowling at times and did well last season
Mark Cleary
we have missed his bowling
And he gives us batting depth
Duvall would also give us extra batting depth

This is the best batting line up

HARRIS
KLINGER
COOPER
COSGROVE
BORGAS
OBREIN
CHRISTIAN
MANOU
WEEKS
CLEARY
DUVALL

But you r short of strike bowlers by doing that and look who misses out
HABERFIELD/TAIT/GEORGE

I still think Klinger has to bat 3 and Cooper open!

My ODD side:
Harris
Cooper
Klinger
Cossie
Borgas
Christian
O'Brien
Manou
Duval
Cleary
Tait

Cleary, Tait to open. (haberfield unlucky after todays performance). Duval Christian to follow with spinners from O brien and part time overs from cossie and harris
