T20-Aus XI vs. ACA All-Stars

The teams have been announced for the annual Twenty/20 exhibition match between an Australian side and the ACA All-Stars team on Sunday night from 7:30pm on 9.

Australia XI: Michael Clarke (capt), Cameron White, George Bailey, Brad Haddin, David Hussey, Andrew McDonald, Clint McKay, Peter Siddle, Steve Smith, Shaun Tait, Adam Voges, David Warner.

All Stars: Shane Warne (capt), Travis Birt, Lee Carseldine, Adam Gilchrist, Daniel Harris, Matthew Hayden, Jason Krejza, Rhett Lockyear, Graham Manou, Glenn McGrath, Nathan Reardon, Nathan Rimmington.

I wonder if Manou or Gilly will get the gloves!

Without the test players available (besides siddle, haddin and clarke due to lack of match practise), its great to see the younger fellas like Steve Smith get a go!

I will suggest Manou will get the gloves. Giichrist has been there, done that. Bit surprised that Christian didnt make the all stars team.

I know it's just an exhibition game and all but on this season's form no way should Tait be in the Australian side.

Hayden might smack a few around, had pretty good form in the IPL this year and from memory might've even been the leading run scorer for the tournament.

Bowling for the all stars looks very weak. There is only McGrath, Rimmington, Warne and Krejza as the main ones. I guess Carseldine, Harris and Reardon to bowl out the rest.
