Well, smac isn't threatening to ban people but it is very much a 'that sort of comment doesn't belong here' ethos coming from a moderator so I'd say it's an accurate analogy.

Good call REB I am with u on this one.

Was a poor performance, but one poor performance does not make a season, lets be thankful that we have seen some great improvement by the Redbacks in all forms of the game in the last 12 months.

Does Cosgrove forgetting to bring his own clothing suggest something about his mental preparations for matches?

Warner's batting was sensational - to club Tait like that is something crazy.

I'm pretty sure T20 and one dayers are not first class cricket. I can't remember the exact definition but I think it's games where both sides have the opportunity to play two innings. That was some incredible batting by Warner though, I've never seen Tait be humiliated like that before and I can remember a ODI series in NZ (just prior to the World Cup in '07 that he tore up) where he got smacked around a fair bit too.

Sucks we're going to be without Afridi on Saturday night but I really do hope we put in a much better showing against either Qld or Vic than last night. Still even if the Jelly's lose we're going to the Champions League regardless.

Cricket is cricket no matter which form of the game it is, bit like saying you dont like certain parts of sex...

You are correct - T20 or ODMs are not considered first class.

I was using first class in the generic sense, as in cricketers playing at a high level. Most of these players would have played first class cricket ie: shield/tests.

We don't really need to hear it again and I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate someone continually bagging Test cricket in the various threads...

This thread has been pointed out to me by another poster hence my reading of it. Please point out to me the last time i invaded these threads. I have criticised 20/20 a lot and still think it's crap etc. etc. but i have been ignoring the threads for a while now. I still don't agree with them being in the cricket forum and think they should be in the Other Sports forum but that is not the point. Leave me out of this as i have no time for something that is ruining the game of cricket and that is exactly what i think 20/20 is doing. You guys don't agree and i respect that but as i am staying away from these threads please don't bring me into it.
