good day today by the Redbacks
finished at 5 for 358 with Boofer not out on 102 and Manou not out on 67
good contributions by Cosgrove with 72, Borgas 44 and Ferguson 41

also a good effort by the Taswegians today to get through 96 overs

We need full points from this game if we are to have any chance of getting to the final.

Manous 67* from 73 balls was great to watch, some brilliant pulls and straight drives. Lehmanns ton was his usual relaxed style, just timing everything out of the middle. Even Furguson had little trouble with the bowling, and when he got out he hit it off the middle of the bat, just straight to a fielder. Will be good to see the Redbacks post a big total and push for an outright win. With Dizzy and Tait bowling together, we'd be in with a real good chance. Just a pity that Cullen is out for a month. Will we ever see Tait, Dizzy, Rofe and Cullen bowling together? Many Test nations would be happy with that combination.

went yesterday, the first session and a half was like watching paint dry, borgas as slow as a wet week, cossie looked awesome, ferguson great, and boof...no words needed, what a lege. oh and manou wasnt bad late in the day either once he got his eye in I was interested to note that in the first 2 sessions we scored 181 and the 2nd 2 we scored 345 what an amazing change to the game. Go the Redbacks!!!!! and currently thy're fourfa 100 or so greeat stuff!

Tassie all out for 212, about 370 in arrears, Tait picked up 4 this morning ... Boof opted not to enforce the follow-on

Pretty hot out there, so probably a good move to give the bowlers a break.

I would expect that Boof will declare when Cossie gets his ton. I can't see Tassie scoring 600 to win.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I take it that's the close of play for Day 3? We've got tomorrow to get them all out?
