Laughable really, 50 overs each, the game didn't even go 50 overs

Thats close to one of our most pathetic performances since we scored 20 odd in NSW a few years back

That long means it must be close to 40 years since Enfield A grade got knocked over for 19 and both openers got a king pair on the same day of a 2 day match

Cant help but feel Harris is going to be one of the blokes who is great at shield level but has far to many flaws / plays to loose to be decent against the good test nations. I'm sure at some point in his career he will get al ton against the likes of Bangladesh or West Indies.

When we're bored as an exercise we should attempt to put an Aussie XI together of players who are in this mould, great domestic players but never really made an impact om the international circuit, there's a few that spring to mind like Sayers although it's hard to judge on one test, or Siddons who was denied a test debut despite being arguably the best bat in the country at the time. I was thinking of players like Marcus North.

Stuart Law would be my first picked in the ODI team.

I agree, he tends to play alot of loose shots. I read he's been trying to fix that sort of thing so he's obviously aware of what you're saying.
That was his 15th first class hundred and the first of this summer.
In the last five seasons of the Sheffield Shield Harris has the most hundreds with ten, Henriques has nine, Head has eight and Bancroft has seven.

Jackson Bird would probably be my first picked for the test team.

Heard Nick Winter and Sam Kerber added to 13 man squad to play Queensland next week, Sayers may be out due to family reasons. Reckon Kerber will win the Bradman next week too and will be away potentially

Heard that as well Eags. Makes sense for Winter to be going as it swings up there. Could be good for you guys if they can only be available for day 1 of the semi this week :D

Certainly makes for interesting decision if win the toss! Do you bat and face Winter/Agar/Kerber, or bowl and have Weatherald/Kerber etc. With Uni only needing a draw they could bat day and a half. But their bowling is pretty weak without those three, and we made 370 two weeks ago and that was with Kerber taking five. Hope we lose the toss so not in our control

Will SACA even allow pace bowlers to bowl on Saturday? The policy in the past was to stop them from bowling in similar situations.
Cheers

Yes BP, that has been the case, but they have relaxed the rule this year. Not sure if it was due to Dizzy or the complaints from Clubs. All State players can bat or bowl on Saturday, but nothing on Sunday apparently.
