He is a long way off. He has had an ordinary year really. All this talk of playing for Australia has gone to his head.

The selection of team only going with 5 batters was disgraceful really!!

Carder gone, Lehmann been ok but knicks up early way too often and at his age should be gone too.

This is deadset deplorable.
I think a lot of blame needs to be directed at the coaching (or lack of!). Having a look at all 4 dismissals this innings - in particular the positioning of the front leg before the ball is delivered. Who the hell is telling the batters to do that??
Meanwhile Dizzy sits back and does absolutely nothing - I've heard from numerous sources that he does not do any actual bowling coaching at all. You would think one of Australia's best-ever fast bowlers would have a lot of knowledge to pass on. However, he doesn't lift a finger to help any of the bowlers and handballs all responsibility to the underlings. Well done Tim and SACA Board!!!
