Just watched them both and it makes you wonder if the bloke at the other end or the previous batsman might have told them he was bowling out benders?

"He doing much?"

"Yeah mate, big outties"

"Cheers, I might take off?"

"Good idea, cover the off peg"

Reminds me of heading out to bat just after my mate got bowled for a Goldie, I didn't see him get out as I was scrambling to get my gear on.

"What's he doing?"

"Big outies"

First ball, swings in a mile, I swear he just wanted me to fail also to make him feel better.

Another time I asked him and his reply was "I don't know, it just wobbles through the air"

Funny thing was, it did.

Rumour Worrall been left out of 12 for Monday's game, replaced in 12 by Pope. And Sayers may be rested also for Mennie to play.

Must win game and we are chance again to make the Final, and leave out two best bowlers.

Very strange decision IMO!!

Didn't Worrall win MOM? And Sayers bowled well first innings, and as above doesn't need a rest.

Would be an incredibly strange decision.

Yes Worrall was the man of the match, surely Sayers and him aren't out wtf, they're SA's two best bowlers.

That's what my sources tell me, could not believe it either as such an important game, but at least one of them won't play, potentially both. Agree, very, very strange call!! Hope the info is wrong!

Agreed - why would they need "resting"? (unless there's an injury). Sayers would be spewing if that's the case - he's our best bowler.
Pope went for 1/190 in the game against England Lion. Match is at Bankstown so unsure if it is a turner like the SCG?

I consider Daniel Worrall when fit and firing is as good as any bowler in the Sheffield Shield comp.
It probably makes sense to rest or freshen him up

Yep, 1/190 off 30 overs vs English Lions and only wicket was the night watchmen.

Play the four quicks and use Head for some spin.

Winter did not bowl great last game.

Was Dukes ball specialist last season, but reckon he needed to bowl with new ball where he did most of his damage.

Interesting to see how Pope goes.

Won’t get a better chance to knock NSW off, their side is very ordinary in the batting department especially
