I remember Johnson saying afterwards that the pressure of the Ashes in England got to him but I think it might've had a bit more to do with that stuff with his mother on the eve of the tour. He's pretty sensitive and supposedly has had a difficult upbringing. I remember Craddock saying on the Back Page that he bought someone in his family a motorbike not that long ago and then all his other family members started hassling him for their motorbikes too.

What a runout by Ponting, just an amazing fieldsman.

Elite fielding work from Punter. What a legend this man is.

His fielding qualities elevate him above the likes of Sachin and co. as overall players imo.

People seriously underestimate and undervalue Ponting as a cricketer. My word he's a freak. That throw was ridiculous.

Agree totally, I've forgotten how many times I've just shook my head in disbelief at a lot of his runouts & catches over his career. Breaking that potential partnership between Yuraj & Dhoni might end up being the thing that wins us this game and keeps us in the series.

Agreed, people are a joke when it comes to talking about Ponting. If we fielded 11 Pontings against England in the Ashes it wouldn't have been the farce it turned out to be - they would've batted like guns, fielded like guns, and bowled better than Johnson.

S.Marsh if fit
P.Jauqes on last innings in the NSW cap im guessing ur picking him on??
R.Ponting
M.Clarke
C.White
B.Haddin
A.McDonald hasnt played 1 dayers, clearly behind hopes and henriques
B.Lee
N.Hauritz
S.Tait kidding me right?? by the next world cup, he will be retired with a heart problem
D.Bollinger bowled well in last couple of games, but ahead of mitch n bracken??

* Would of picked Hodge but selectors wont pick him

* P.Jauqes LIST A Stats 123 Matches, 4788 Runs,Avg 42.75, 12 100's, HS 158, SR 90.16
* McDonald is three times the player Henriques is. Moses avgs 18 with the bat never made a 50 and avgs 40 with the ball and goes at 5.46 an over for NSW in the 50 over game. Just because he is young and was a good U 19 player dosnt mean he's going to make it.
* Tait when fit is a major weapon as we saw last world cup, bowls unplayable deliverys, and on slow Indian wickets his extra pace will be vital.
* I just rate Bollinger and think he will play a big part in Australias team over the next couple of years.

12 off the over, surely that's enough from Johnson for the game?
