I dont have a problem with risking the 6 points in chasing the maximum result. The worst outcome is that the vics get 6 points and we get 2. The vics are going to make the final anyway.

They conceded 2 points v WA by memory this year, and then went on to win outright and still get 6 themselves!!!

Great declaration by South Australia IMO.

We have nothing to lose. The vics are guaranteed to make the final, we have already gained 2 points from it. We cant lose those! We can however gain 4 extra points. If that means we get beaten going for those 4 points so be it. However we needed time to bowl them out and we now have that!
