I reckon Blizzard was 12th man for the SA game.
He's a big hitter of the ball and I would love to see him in there.
Saw him hit a few over the Chappell stands a few years back. Great stuff.

Why
Becoz they can only pick eleven.....

BLIZZARD must be close again
QUINEY is the wildcard for the Vics
Im stunned he cant get a gig, surely moderate 50 over form should not be a pre-requisite to 20/20 selection
His last dig in a 20/20 game he made that 90 odd of about 48 balls in the Grand Final

Its a shame to see ex champs struggling
SYMONDS and now Brad HODGE in this comp

I couldn't find anything else but this from Cricinfo. The IPL website is useless.

Which SA player was "p*ssed off his brain" on Friday night at a northern hotel and had to be driven home with training just 3 hours away.
If they'd done a breath test at training, he would have blown the machine out of the universe!

4/110 [9]
54 ball innings
everyone who batted needed to bat irREBsponsibly
SYMONDS turned back the clock 38*[21]
SIMPSON 34[14]
CARSELDINE 25[12]
VETTORI 3*[2]

good bashing and QL look slight favs

QUESTION for the experts

20 overs = 6 overs of powerplay
9 overs there were only 2 overs of powerplay
WHY ?
Surrely it should be 3 0r 4 overs
