Banned from playing for the remainder of the BBL. Consider this :

Earlier this summer, by comparison, a rather greater fall was experienced by Emily Smith, a young keeper with the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash League.

Carroll imposed on Smith a one-year ban from all cricket including club matches, nine months suspended, for posting a joke video on Instagram that incidentally revealed a batting order in a match that didn’t take place.

This was partly justified by Smith having been part of induction processes spelling out the prohibitions of CA’s anti-corruption code. She “should have known”, it was said. Stoinis has played 60 international matches for Australia. Reckon he might have been part of a few educational sessions along the way? Reckon he “should have known”?
