170 to win

Going to be an interesting chase, still think they are about 25-30 short

The pitch looked very flat during Zimbabwe's innings compared to the pitch the Aussies played Ireland on and hopefully stays that way. ;)

Lucky it’s only the T20 WC, I’d be filthy if this was the ODI WC.
We haven’t remotely looked interested in this WC

Sums us up really, we seem to pick on reputation more than form.
How do we pick Inglis over someone who is absolutely glowing with form and has a good short game record.
How does Dwarshuis get a game?
I wouldn’t have picked Tim David after missing so much cricket, he needs time in the middle to produce what he’s capable of.
Why didn't we finalise our squad closer to the end of the BBL or move the BBL earlier to accommodate.
Stoinis is not in our top 4 all rounders, as good as he was he hasn’t produced anything spectacular for quite some time.
Despite being over-ruled by our very own Mr Cricket I still think that Ellis is not in our top 3 best pace bowling options, but then, do we need to go big on pace on the sub-continent, I’d play 1 quick and fill the rest with medium pace all-rounders and a combination of quick spinners and those who toss the ball up.
We need to accept that a par score in the comp will be 180 so we need to bat deep and bowl full at about stump 4.5 and set our field accordingly.
All is not lost, hopefully this is the wake up we needed if we didn’t get it via our schmozzle Pakistan lead up, I’m still backing us in as we have enough match winning players and T20 can be won by individual brilliance.
Onwards and upwards

Wow, that’s disturbing, I would have thought that we’re on the better side of the ratio against every other nation

Assume you're talking about Carey? Inglis has a better T20 record and a substantially better T20I record than Carey.

Dwarshius gets a game because he's left arm (probably the best left arm pace option currently) and been a consistently high wicket taker in the BBL for the last three seasons.
