Vics resume this morning 1/28

Dean 12*
Pucovski 0*

Nic Maddinson has a broken thumb so we might only need 9 wickets to close the innings.

They only have one recognized batter left (Short), then all the bowlers, so one wicket could break it up.

Having said that, guys like Tremain always makes 50 against us!

Agree with Eagle
On face value rest of the VI batting looks suspect
With the star SS batsman Nick Maddinson injured , that makes the batting much weaker
Nick Maddison has been in brilliant batting form in the SS this season

Correct about Tremain and 50
He faced 5 balls and made 0 runs, balls and runs = 50 ....

Very glad to be wrong, I was there for an hour this morning Gotch and Will looked to be having no issues, Robins kept bowling a ball on the pads each over and was put away, Andrews kept it tight but didn't look threatening.

Lehmann another terrible shot - had shocking season.

Davis dropped second ball, sitter at 1st slip, should have been 5/43!

Over by tea?

Time for dratstic action, a red X need to be put thru mcinerney and, smith for starters, lehmann doesnt deserve his spot either and it looks like ferg and cooper have had their day, time to lure some talent from interstate, tasmania won a couple of shields based on recruiting players from nsw who couldnt crack their shield side, time for us to do the same, local talent is extremely thin in the batting stakes, not sure siddons is earning his keep either

Keep Ferg.
Cooper, Smith done now i suspect
McInerney gets another year.
Lehmann has had a bad year but he has been consistent in previous years so i think he gets a pass on this one,
Davis looks good
Neilsen Stays
Weatherald needs to go back to his old ways
Dalton should open next year
Jake Winter is a strange one, he should have had more opportunity
Pope Stays
Andrews stays
Nick Winter, Dan Worrell, Chad Sayers all fine.
Zampa, head, Carey all Aussie players so stay
Mennie almost done
Richo i think is done as a 4 day player but i still rate him.
Valente shouldn't play 4 cricket next year
