The replay of Hot Spot indicates he may well have got an inside edge to that delivery. A slice of luck for him after Australia did not use their review.

Over 28.2: Harris to du Plessis, no run, APPEAL, ripping delivery to receive first up from Harris! It nips back in again sharply to narrowly miss the inside edge, possibly clipping high on the back leg

roll them today, bat for 90 minutes and allow ourselves 5 and a bit sessions to bowl them out with 450 to defend

That is a shocking shot from the worlds best ranked batsmen. Simply didn't need to play at it but if he did play a full on drive with foot work in stead of hanging it out to dry.....
