Batting out of his crease, dropped his bat when he tried to get back. Very unlucky, but very aware from Nevill.

Tell ya what almost looked like he had his hand on his bat before the ball hit the stumps.. might've been bit unlucky

Zampa getting pasted..

Understand there was some turn out the rough for the NSW spinner, but surely it's a little harsh Sayers not getting the new ball?

As i say this, Maddinson is out for 18 (8)

Crane for NSW was a lot quicker through the air, got more turn and the extra speed made it hard for the SA bats to use their feet.

Zampa throws it up a bit more, and the NSW bats can come forward and work him to the leg with relative ease.

Head now coming onto bowl ahead of Sayers..

**** me, Sayers would want to be injured, this is embarrassing!! Bloke been the premier bowler for a few years, has one bad innings and brushed aside!

10 off the over.. NSW 2/83

I thought Crane bowled ok both innings, a smokey for the Ashes?

Really like the look of Young Crane. Nice to see we have a decent young leg spinner coming through for once. I doubt we would see him in the ashes, Rashid was decent in India and probably deserves a go.

Think Crane is a long way off England duties still - bowled some good balls, but still plenty of tripe dished up.. once he gets more consistency he will be a serious player.

NSW really went hard after our bowlers. I wonder if other teams will take notice? Seemed to throw us off our game.

Where does this result leave us?

Leaves us third.
About half a point behind Queensland and 4 points behind NSW. Need to beat Tassie and then hope other results go our way
